My solo exhibition “LOST IN STRUCTURE” will be held at Artglorieux, GINZA SIX starting Thursday, February 26.

建物によって埋め尽くされた東京では、 人や車、光や風は限られた空間の隙間を縫うように移動します。 それはまるで迷路に入り込んだような感覚であり、 時に出口がない不安を覚えます。 本展では、複雑に重なり合う無機質な街の構造の中に 「棒状の物体」を有機物の象徴として重ね合わせ、 その強さと永続性を表現しました。 ビルとビルとの細い路地を歩き、ふと上を見上げると、 切り取られた青い空を、白い雲が左右に流れていきます。時間と空間の圧迫から、自分自身を解放することは 大きな街の真ん中でもできると、私は信じています。 この展示に向けて私が制作した作品から、 人としての個の逞しさを感じていただけたら幸いです。


In Tokyo, where buildings fill nearly every part of the landscape, people, cars, light, and wind move through limited spaces. At times, it feels like being lost in a maze, bringing a quiet feeling of unease, as if there were no visible way out. This exhibition places line-shaped objects as symbolic of organic form, within the densely layered structures of an inorganic city to evoke their strength and permanence. Walking through the narrow alleys between buildings and looking up, one sees a fragment of blue sky where white clouds drift gently from side to side. I believe that even in the heart of a vast city, it is possible to find a way out of the pressures of time and space. Through the works created for this exhibition, I hope viewers can perceive the resilience and strength of the human individual.
